Mission Statement

As an organisation, we believe everyone has the right to live as a citizen with full rights in the community, irrespective of disabilities.

We will ensure that service users activities of daily living are ‘person-centered’ enabling them to live an independent life within the community based on their individual choices and aspirations.
 
The service provided should be able to respond immediately to service users needs and be ‘person-centered’ to enable them to have as much freedom and power over their own lives as other persons living in the local community.
 
The basic philosophy should be to empower the client to make informed choices and decisions on a daily basis about their own lives. The level of support should be negotiated between service and client in order to respond to the client’s view of their lifestyle.
 
In practice, the client would in effect have ownership of the service and dictate the direction and formulation of the support offered to them after being given understandable information and advice.
 
MGB Care Services are committed to caring for the individual with learning disabilities to lead as near a normal life as possible and to genuinely improve the individual’s quality of life and for those around them, however severe or challenging their disability or behaviour.
