PROACT- SCIPr-UK
PROACT SCIPr UK® (Positive Range of Options to Avoid Crisis and Use Therapies, Strategies for Crisis Intervention and Prevention) is a training programme accredited by BILD (British Institute of Learning Disabilities) which primarily focuses on positive approaches to behaviour management and encourages the use of proactive responses.
MGB Care Services Ltd is fully committed to the PROACT SCIPr UK®philosophy and promotes a ‘whole’ approach to working with individuals by providing all members staff with the necessary information and skills to provide a therapeutic environment and to increase the competence and confidence of all who support individuals with behaviours that challenge.
MGB Care Services Ltd employs two members of the management team who are qualified instructors and deliver this training to all staff within the organisation. The training programme takes place over 2 days and covers the following topics:
